Melissa Schneider, Certified Advanced Rolfer, has been a rolfer for over a decade. Her bodywork and movement journey began 20 years ago with yoga studies in Mysore, India with Ashtanga Yoga and internationally renowned teacher, Tias Little. After becoming a certified massage therapist in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Shiatsu, in 2002, she traveled to Thailand and Laos to study Osteopathic Thai Massage. In pursuit of advanced movement techniques and a deeper anatomical focus, Melissa completed a 2-year program at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 2014. In 2018, she completed a 3-year Aston Patterning certification program with movement pioneer Judith Aston. Melissa recently completed her Advanced Training in Rolfing with Tessy Brungardt and Valerie Berg. Melissa's sessions focus on injury prevention and rehabilitation and assisting her clients in the discovery of how movement, at any age, can come with ease, fluidity, and joy.
